I did my first babysitting gigs at age 13, in 2002.
I vividly remember playing dolls with my neighbor’s daughter. She just had her first baby about a month ago.
Sometimes I forget how old I am. Then I do something like “going too long without eating,” or “sleeping on the same side for too long” and it’s like my body full-on revolts against me. Sigh.
Ha, guess you’re not a LotR fan then. It’s one of the phrases from the book that folks quote often, I think mainly tongue in cheek, because it’s phrased a little funny. But it definitely carries meaning for sure.

I feel you. I’m born in '87, but I feel thin, sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread.
That is such a perfect metaphor, I may have to steal it.
