It really depends on the topic for me. Friend who’s whole world is MTG and can talk about it for days on end? I humor them as long as I can but I am not into deck builders and my mind goes numb. Girlfriend who has enough deep medical knowledge to test right out of a premed program? Incredibly enriching, like listening to a satisfying podcast, sit me in a comfy chair and feed it to my ears.
