      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Fixed_Calendar

The International Fixed Calendar (also known as the Cotsworth plan, the Cotsworth calendar, the Eastman plan or the Yearal)[1] was a proposed reform of the Gregorian calendar designed by Moses B. Cotsworth, first presented in 1902.[2] The International Fixed Calendar divides the year into 13 months of 28 days each.

Kodak actually used it from 1928 to 1989.

Easy. Simply denounce your customs, beliefs, standards and protocols and join up with me on the mm/dd/yy side.

Much better way to organize. It’s how a lot of my files start:

            YYYYMMDD-Name-Document-signed

So much easier to keep track.

100%, though I prefer “yyyy-mm-dd-” as the prefix to make it easier to parse the file at a glance. Leaving it all run together makes me take a few seconds to parse the date, which can be a annoying when trying to scan file lists.
