Honestly, I’ve been out of play for a long time. But I still have fond memories of the aesthetic of MTG. I remember getting a book with a fat pack once, that was awesome, though it’s been too long since I’ve read it to remember much. Admittedly, I don’t know too terribly much about the lore outside of some Ravnica stuff, and even that’s largely in part thanks to getting my hands on a PDF of Guildmaster’s Guide to Ravnica. Also some scraps about Jace Beleran. I’m sure I’ll be tossing up some Golgari art now and then. But anyways, last I played was Scars of Mirrodin when it was coming out (may the phyrexian scourge scour the lands!) Perhaps I should look into other books that flesh out the lore.
