Pretty ridiculous comparison. Haven’t seen anyone ridiculing someone for being fat just after giving birth.
Also while you do retain some circumference you do not retain all.
That being said: make sure to do your exercises after giving birth to preserve your pelvic floor. You may become disabled otherwise. And please don’t lift heavy stuff.
Can’t lift stuff without strong pain. E.g. a pessary can help. Being (permanently) unable to lift more than 5 or so kilo is pretty sucky. I don’t exactly know what the afflicted person has to be fair.

The pelvic floor exercise is also excellent for if you’re going to have an affirming surgery, it helps to do those exercises a while beforehand.
that said, but why would one get disabled for not doing the pelvic floor exercises? i was thinking urination issues at most, but now i’m not so sure.
