I think the Democrats will stop the shutdown before snap ends but if they don’t American society might actually start to collapse.
It will be chaos be 12% of the population, millions of people can’t get food.

I don’t think people realize people are going to begin starving.

I already do because my SNAP has constantly declined over the last 5 years. During the height of covid it was 379 a month then went to 279 a month. Now it is 169 month. My income on Social Security has barely changed at all, only small cost of living increases and when that happens my SNAP goes down so it ends up being a loss in overall funds anyway.
I’m convinced by now that the only thing that would get gringos to revolt is literal starvation and these dumb mfs are playing chicken with the prospect
