DPRK Missile Administration Tests Important Weapon System
Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) – The Missile Administration of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea successfully tested an important weapon system on October 22.
The test was overseen by Pak Jong Chon, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), and Kim Jong Sik, first vice department director of the WPK Central Committee, and Jang Chang Ha, general director of the Missile Administration of the DPRK.
The new weapon system was tested as part of the defence capability development program to enhance the sustainability and effectiveness of strategic deterrence against potential enemies.
Pak Jong Chon said that the new cutting-edge weapon system is a clear proof of steadily upgrading self-defensive technical capabilities of the DPRK, adding that the DPRK’s activities are evidently aimed to continue to bolster up the war deterrent and their purpose is to strengthen self-defence. Upon authorization of the Party Central Military Commission, he highly appreciated the defence science research group which is achieving radical successes in developing the weapon system of a new strategic value.

DPRK develops its weapons for defensive purposes. The US and South Korea conduct provocative military drills on the border of North Korea, twice annually since the Korean war. If DPRK didn’t have weapons, the US would invade again.
It’s impressive when the DPRK is able to develop new technologies despite aggressive US sanctions.
Like I said to the other commenter: fair point, but I don’t have to like it. Call a liberal if you will, but I simply don’t trust any world government to use bombs to actually liberate the working people.
You dont have to trust anyone. But I want you to think about it a bit differently. Stop thinking about the number of bombs alone and start thinking about the distribution of said bombs. Currently the US has way more bombs than everyone else and they use them quite a lot. When power is uneven the powerful abuse it. But if they are spread out more evenly then it becomes risky for anyone to use their bombs. Not only because the person theyre bombing might bomb them back but because it lowers their stockpile and leaves them vulnerable.
So I think the DPRK getting better weapons is good. No matter your opinion on the DPRK itself. Because it evens the playing field a bit more. And the most dangerous world is one where one nation has way more power than the others. Just ask the people in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Gaza, Ukraine, Vietnam, Korea, and maybe soon to be Venezuela.
You’re not gonna believe what was used to destroy the Reich
IIRC Hitler saw a performance of Hamilton on Broadway and it brought him to tears, stepping down that same day
