Watching China do shit like this, while the west is still huffing gas makes me so mad at our capitalist leaders. Like, this is so obviously the future, it could employ millions with green energy, and is better for the planet. BUT THEY WONT DO IT BECAUSE ITS COMMUNISM

    Cuba Solar Irradiance

Cuba has pretty high solar irradiance everywhere in the country, not the best, but pretty good and consistent. Given how cheap solar + batteries is getting, it is a great way to achieve energy independence.

the capitalists can’t sell us the sun :)

i really like china’s push in the renewable energy. sector because in the long run everyone will look at our corrupt lobbyists and say “wtf why aren’t we doing this?!” and no amount of propaganda can change the discourse.
