I’m currently on Slow Horses and Peacemaker just finished season 2 with no season 3 planned at all, so I imagine that’ll be at least 2 years for another season of Peacemaker, which is a real shame.
I’m mostly watching Slow Horses because of Gary Oldman, and I like how incompetent and dysfunctional everyone is in that show.
I’m 1 episode short of finishing Chief of War, which is about the unification of the Hawaiian islands. It’s a bit all over at place, but I guess they’re trying to squeeze as much in it as possible, but it is quite good. Luckily I grew up with subtitles so I’m used to it, but I can see how some might find it annoying and if so that’s definitely the series biggest drawback.
Slow Horses is pretty good. I just finished season 4 and started season 5. The combination of secret agent shenanigans, office politics, action, suspense, and a special kind of bleak and dreary humor only a British show can do. A group of fuckups and weirdos manage to be useful after all.
