An apex predator is one that hunts other predators and has nothing that hunts them (besides honey badgers, of coarse). Sorry if I missed a joke, but you never know

What’s apex?
It means highest, traditionally you’d likely be talking about the the top of the mountain being it’s apex. An apex predator is one that hunts other predators and has nothing that hunts them (besides honey badgers, of coarse).
