Totally on board with your premise, they do need to punch up as much as they can. And it looks like they’re trying to do so this round of shutdowns.

Nonetheless, this ultimately comes down to us. All of us. We can’t just sit here behind a computer and meme ourselves out of this disaster. We have to get out in the streets. We have to yell get mad and be angry. We have to hit them where they feel it. We have to organize. Get with upset farmers, get with the military vets whose benefits have been cut, get with the middleclass milquetoast moms who are starting to feel like something isn’t right with their grocery bills.

Each and every individual one of us is a single drop in the ocean, but, if we all move in the same direction, we become a crashing tsunami.

Never said we’re blameless but we did manage to avoid electing maple flavored trump even once, nevermind twice

Yeah, kinda wish you guys hadn’t decided to export your particular brand of capitalistic rot by osmosis. Our mistake was integrating with you guys as a policy and when the move was made outspoken politicians called it for what it was.
