“Kneecap represents not only a threat to the Jewish community, but their incitement, their glorification of terror, represent a threat to all Canadian values and to all Canadians,” Robertson said

Not my values you fascist shit bag.

Who are we to judge people how they resist their occupier. Canada certainly is not in a historical posture to pitch in on how to resist genocide.

Hezbollah supported the Syrian military occupation of Lebanon. An occupation that lasted longer than the Israeli occupation. Hezbollah also killed many Lebanese politicians including the most famous, Rafik Hariri.

To defend Bachar El Assad, they slaughtered people across Syria.

The judge investigating the Beirut Port Explosion ? He receive death threats from Hezbollah.

Let’s not white wash their crimes.

This Gasparro dude used to be a board member of Postmedia.

In July, a group of First Nations leaders called on the federal government to close the borders to the rappers, insisting that allowing them to perform violates the “spirit and obligations” of treaties between FN and the government.

    This is also interesting.

But in general, we don’t have very strong free speech protections so I wouldn’t be surprised if they remain barred.

That’s fair, since they’re on the record as endorsing groups that are recognized by the Canadian government as terrorist entities:

A 2024 performance reportedly caught a group member cheering “Up Hamas, Up Hezbollah.”
