        actually I think that’s the perfect example of them failing to make it work given where popular opinion on Palestine is

        the media today is busted and further from controlling public opinion than it’s been in a long time

          Idk, it feels like they’re achieving all of their material and political goals without - or in spite of - losing public opinion (which remains split to this day)

          As much as media has lost its influence on public opinion, so has public opinion detached from government and media - they can do what they want and the masses will take it

          Eh, the capitalists have a pretty dense network of chud/liberal influencers that push their talking points (like Charlie), if anything they have a tighter grip than original MSM, because the audience have parasocial relationships with them and they basically live in a different universe to anyone who doesn’t watch the culture war slop.
