    What about the fact that basically ALL entire planet goes through either Cloudflare or Akamai’s infrastructure? I wonder if it is even possible to not use those, even unwillingly

      Not the all planet but a big portion yes. There’s a firefox extension that helps with that: Decentraleyes.

      Don’t let the good be an enemy of the excelent. There’s some stuff that’s unavoidable, but every tiny bit helps.
