Just one more reboot and this time you’ll like the Fantastic Four, you’ll see. Just one more reboot and we’ll start making new films with new stories. We’ve just gotta change up the actors so we have to do the origin story over again, but this time for sure.

I only care about them because of dr. Doom - and they somehow immediately fucked that up yet again. It takes some serious skills to make such bad decisions, thrice

A shame really since their stories kick-started the entire Marvel Comics mythos. The Skrulls, Black Panther, Galactus, Silver Surfer, and, of course, Doctor Doom all originated in the pages of FF comics. Yet, as time went, they were overshadowed by later creations. There were only two notable eras of FF comics: the original Kirby/Lee run and the John Byrne era. The only other notable FF stories were some crossovers with the Chris Claremont era X-men comics.

Well, for one, they come with a fuckton of nerves that cause orgasms to feel mind blowing, much of which get destroyed by circumcision.

Two, if there’s a flap of skin attached to and covering a body part, and this flap appears on very nearly every single male ever, there’s likely a really good reason evolutionary biology brought it about. Other such examples that come to mind are finger- and toenails, skin, recessed eardrums, the ability to close one’s mouth, and eyelids.

I’m not saying this in support of circumcision, but that’s not at all how evolutionary adaptation works. We are full of parts that are no longer useful and are infact sometimes downright more risky to have just because they aren’t likely to negatively impact our ability to procreate.

Do you plan to provide examples (other than the appendix and tonsils, that can be harmful to have if infected) of these useless organs we’re so full of? And why would I associate the foreskin, which has a clear protective use case, with these many, many other apparently useless/dangerous  organs we’re chock full to the brim with?

If you’re going to make a claim about evolutionary adaptation works, you have the burden to back your claim with more than just vague proclamations.

Even animals that don’t have one usually have an equivalent part, suggesting it’s a very old evolutionary adaptation
