Metropolitan Police @metpoliceuk · 6h There are a number of events taking place in London this weekend.

Anyone attending should be aware that officers policing these will act where criminal offences, including those related to support of proscribed groups or organisations, are committed.

Maybe its apologia for fucking genocide and accepting the criminalization of the only group on your putrid Nazi shithole island doing anything meaningful to oppose it?

You’re a cowardly little worm. And your “For the hard of thinking” comment just comes off as the most insufferable reddit brain smugness and I would have responded hostilely to you just for that but you had to go on to act like the big boy genius in the room by saying “Ummmm well ackshually that group is illegal now you dum dums!”

So yes I hold the same contempt for you as I do for someone that openly advocates for the genocide.

That’s a fair call and I’ve updated my comment. As a native English speaker who knows to varying degrees a few other languages I know it’s a tricky language so I wanted to clarify the distinction between “Palestine Action” and “Palestine action”.

Notably, nobody is confused about the difference. You, however, seem to have a hard time understanding that, and you also seem to be confused about how branding PA as terrorists and rooting out opposition to the genocide are related.

On the contrary. A post with (currently) 45 upvotes states exactly “Thinking of putting up Palestine stuff in my windows just to dare them to come get me.”

This is exactly what I mean. Putting up Palestine stuff is just fine, perfectly legal, and you cannot be arrested for it.

If she really wants to be daring she should put up Palestine Action stuff in her windows.

PA probably aren’t terrorists, just protesters who took it a bit too far, but the facts are: they broke into an airbase and damaged RAF jets by pouring paint into their engines. This will take those jets out of commission until the damage has been assessed; maybe the paint will just wash or burn off, but maybe they’ll need to be replaced, which is a cost that could run into millions because jet engines aren’t exactly cheap. So a case could be made that they are also terrorists, but it’s a bit of a stretch.

“rooting out opposition to the genocide” No, we’re not doing that. There’s plenty of opposition and it’s fine; we live in a democracy and people are free to support whoever they want to support (in this case: as long as it’s the Palestinians in general, not Hamas).

Notably, it doesn’t say what you claim it says. You need to learn to read English.

This is exactly what I mean. Putting up Palestine stuff is just fine, perfectly legal, and you cannot be arrested for it.

You can. People have already been arrested for protesting against the genocide. With this law being the justification.

PA probably aren’t terrorists, just protesters who took it a bit too far

They didn’t take it too far. If you think that opposing a genocide is ‘taking it too far’, then you have no basis for objecting to being called a nazi.

but the facts are: they broke into an airbase and damaged RAF jets by pouring paint into their engines.

Yeah, and? If you think that sabotaging a nazi state’s warplanes is bad, then it’s pretty obvious where you stand.

This will take those jets out of commission until the damage has been assessed

            Good.
You are yet to bring up any reason to believe that PA did something bad.

which is a cost that could run into millions because jet engines aren’t exactly cheap

Good. The more the nazi states are hindered, the better.

So a case could be made that they are also terrorists, but it’s a bit of a stretch.

In that case, every non-official group that opposed such things as the Holocaust and the Lebensraum, Manifest Destiny, NATO’s invasions of Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Iran, etc., the European colonial rule over most of the world, and the like are all ‘terrorists’. The only people who aren’t are members of official militaries and the people who support those things, it seems.

“rooting out opposition to the genocide” No, we’re not doing that.

That is exactly what you have been doing.

There’s plenty of opposition and it’s fine

Let me guess, all of this opposition that you think is ‘fine’ is of the completely ignorable sort?

            we live in a democracy

Says the person who lives under a literal monarchy with plenty of hereditary ruling positions, and where the vast majority of people have no say in what the state does.
Also, if you think that you live in a democracy, that means that you should bear responsibility for what your state does, as that would mean that you have a say in what your state does. That indicates that your state perpetrating a high-profile genocide is approved by you.

and people are free to support whoever they want to support (in this case: as long as it’s the Palestinians in general, not Hamas).

Ah yes, as long as they don’t support any resistance to the genocide.
Also, people like you who can’t even form a coherent thought for why supporting Hamas (and other groups that are resisting the genocide) is supposed to be bad, but want to keep repeating that cliche are quite silly.

Isn’t it funny how people like you - for whom the English language is supposedly their first one - can’t read even singular sentences?

I can tell you that that comment does not say that this law makes it explicitly illegal to do that. Not that it would have mattered, as people are being arrested for opposition to the genocide in question - including when they are just protesting the way you claim to be perfectly fine and legal, - i.e. even the central point that you tried to make is wrong.

Ah, the old “all British are nazis”. About as accurate as “all tankies are…” comments.
