Not an expert but I’ve read comments that it handles complex MS Office-created documents better than Libre Office, as internally LO converts everything into ODF, even if it will be saved in original MS file format. IIRC Only Office, SoftMaker, and WPS leave the file in MS format, leading to less unwanted changes.
Why is OnlyOffice getting traction all of a sudden?
Is there something it does well that LibreOffice doesn’t?
I’m always a bit dubious about new software, especially something as massive as an entire office suite.
