Antithesis: not even all of Greater London is really London (looking at you Harrow, Orpington and Romford)

Synthesis: Londonness is actually governed by a negative cubic law of the displacement of a location from Trafalgar Square, with a strong local minimum about the periphery of Greater London which tips those areas into ‘not-London’. Whilst areas outside that are, in fact, London again until Londonnees depletes again somewhere in the midlands
