Ocasio-Cortez took to Instagram after the Department of Homeland Security suggested they may pursue arrests of three Democratic lawmakers who partook in a protest outside of an ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey. Reps. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), Rob Menendez (D-NJ) and LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) all attended the protest.
A guy shot up a pizza parlor he thought was a secret Democrat base. Another dude tried to kill Nancy Pelosi with a hammer, but she wasn’t there so he tried to kill her husband.
The answer is “No. Dems will do absolutely fuck all if they get Sumner Cane’d.” They will cling to civility and decorum even as bullets from ICE stormtroopers go out the back of their skulls.
Even if they weren’t, the narrative behind those attacks were “lone wolf” attacks
