    I don’t think it has any chance of reversing. The US has been an increasingly terrible trading partner for a while, and has kept taking actions that discourage more and more countries from using the dollar/swift system or increasing business with the US. US trade and foreign investment collapse was going to happen with or without tariffs, the tariffs are merely accelerating the process.

      i dunno. watching the eu, australia, west asia drop their tariff responses along w latin american (out of fear of military intervention) makes me think that if china wins, it’ll take alteast another century.

        Tbh the EU has been gearing up for a pivot to China for a while now — Nord Stream was the point of no-return, and now the tarrifs are lighting a fire under the whole process

          they canceled their tariff response and have blocked investigation into nord stream every step fo the way; how did you reach this conclusion?
