      Eh…

      Most of Brazil calls it “abacaxi”. And by “most”, I mean almost all of it, and the exception is there because of recent immigrants bringing the other name.

      UK just took France’s logic to naming potatoes (earth apples) and went “well I guess it’s like a pinecone… pineapple. That’s sufficient.”

      I think it’s Pina in Spanish too.
