According to russian foreign policy, Finland should be absorbed into Russia when any opportunity presents itself.
Finland should be absorbed into Russia. Southern Finland will be combined with the Republic of Karelia and northern Finland will be “donated to Murmansk Oblast”.

I guess even the right-wingers there aren’t keen on learning a new alphabet.
Don’t confuse honest technical motivations with “technical motivations” here. Starting new projects to grab EU funding is a lot more profitable for the individual companies that get to take part in them. Especially when failure is an option in the end.
I’m not saying that’s the case, but I have experienced one or two EU funded project here and there that didn’t really make efforts to make the jump into a market viable product in the end.
NO, they stockpiled all these freaking arms for Soviet aggression or fascist threats, and now its at their doorstep.
Unfortunately, in Eastern Germany e.g. a large part of the population welcomes the Russians and are totally fine with their aggression, at least according to their election choices.
They don’t, of course. Their best selling cars in Germany are the Focus, the Kuga and the Puma, none of which exceeds 4.45m of length.
EDIT: Just noticed - they don’t even sell any of those in the US, probably all too small.
I’ve mapped a quick access button on my steering wheel to “toggle navigation mute/unmute”. Best experience so far. Thanks to the engineer that decided to put that button there instead of a blank (when ordered without heated steering wheel).
THERE IS NO GODDAMN PETROL ENGINE BAN.
There is a ban on engines though that can’t run without creating additional CO2 emissions from 2035 though. Tough luck for fossil engines in their current configurations, but not unsolvable for the very special applications where they’ll still be needed.
That’s not true. I have quite a bit of smart home stuff. It’s all hosted on premise and walled off towards the internet though.
