it’s not about right or wrong – it’s about power. the Republicans understand that and the Democrats are doing their best to hide that fact from their constituents. you’re not going to convince anyone on the right with moral arguments.

I use stackoverflow for minutes at a time and it almost never has answers to the questions I need answers to. if it has an answer, it’s usually “you can’t do that”. reference docs are 100% of the time more helpful. so no, I don’t think so.
iirc, the question that ignited a war was “are outdoor cats vegan?” – meaning “can vegans own outdoor cats?” it devolved quickly into “should outdoor cats be killed?” with radical environmentalists on one side and felinitarians on the other, while the rest of us
