to me, this seems to be an iteration of the XZ supplychain exploit that weponizes AI to create targeted hit pieces and harassment towards contributors and developers.

I’m anti-AI so please don’t misunderstand by when I say weaponizes AI. I think AI is shit and in this case, AI doesn’t even have to be good in quality in order for malicious assholes to use it as a weapon to attack real contributors/devs.

Women in particular should take the time to consider if wifi/AI is actually needed in sex toys and other gadgets to buy.

Fair point and for an $250 endoscope dildo having a wifi vulnerability is a terrifying reality.

I’m just imagining that with AI integration it’ll allow for even bigger attack surface vector.

I have a very hard time believing that sex toy manufacturers would actually take the time and effort in locking down the vulnerabilities that LLMs inherently carry.
