  • What agenda am I pushing?

I’ve been through most stages of computing. I remember being a wee lad with 5.25" floppies.

    There isn’t much I haven’t experienced.

What they did was not close. Not even similar. They’re playing a game from 2009 on a HDD. It doesn’t require much.

Storage is expensive. Wasting money on equipment that will leave you disappointed isn’t what most would want.

Spinning rust is fine for most games on a second drive.

  • I’m sure it has no problem running the game from Windows XP days.

The OS, unlike the game, is constantly running. It’s not a slight difference.

A person running in this configuration can often look forward to stuttering, which makes for a wonderful time.

You’re hilariously making out a configuration from a lifetime ago to work nearly as well.

Fortnite and an OS on a hard drive is going to be a very bad time.

What a strange thing to be contrarian aboot. It’s almost like you’re defending storage prices.

  • You seem kind. Thank you for that.

I was simply stating the US government 3 letter agencies have been disregarding the law when it comes to our privacy for many years. I didn’t communicate the statement very well. Sorry.

I don’t have faith in the liberal system. It’s been failing us regular people since it’s inception. If there were more people like you, it might stand a chance at being slightly less exploitative… You’re not the average person running things, though.

And anyways, you can’t reform a system that has exploitation at it’s core.

A revolution will take place one day. It might not be in our lifetime, or maybe it’ll be next year, who knows.

    Take care kind stranger.

  • Alright, so I dug into Tibet a little bit, which was a giant pain. It’s basically a wall of western media and “non-profits.” I do recall this history a bit, but it’s been quite awhile since I’ve read about it.

So America’s big shtick is spreading democracy, which is hilarious, right? What happened with Tibet is China freed a million people from feudalism, and for some reason we’re upset about it. If the west would have gotten to them first they would have thrown some right wing Hitler wannabe in charge, Nestle or something other giant shitty corporation would have exploited the ever living hell out of everyone, and we wouldn’t have heard about it again… China pushes education through socialism and every CIA/Israel backed “non-profit” loses their shit.

It was quite awhile ago, and it’s interesting. I’ll definitely be looking for some literature on the topic.

The 9 dash line thing, I don’t have much of an opinion. Maritime law is also not my thing.

Parenti article on Tibet (Though I don’t always agree with him when it comes to China, he’s usually pretty decent): https://tibetanbuddhistencyclopedia.com/en/index.php?title=Friendly_feudalism%3A_the_Tibet_myth
