There’s something to this. Remember 2020? Remember the activism and riots? Nothing fundamentally changed, but the people seemingly went back to sleep. This is going to (I’ve got to be realistic 😞) MIGHT wake them up again.

I read a flippant remark without proof that TikTok gave trump $100million. Anyone got corroboration of that claim? I want to shove it in someone’s face.

You want kids to take risks while playing? OK then, make it so that the medical bills don’t bankrupt whole families.

Things like this move me to imagine a world completely devoid of ads. “But how would you discover a product you didn’t know you needed?” I don’t care. I would go without that product. That is preferable to me.

You know what else they could have done, as a compromise? Make the ad screens partially transparent, by stippling the pixels, or by having glass sections, or by turning the LCD completely transparent for part of its refresh… there are many ways to not be anti-consumer garbage meant only to jump in front of eyeballs.

I just blocked MeanwhileOnGrad because it seems like it’s just a place to pile on someone and talk about how much everyone hates them. Not quite the same thing, but basically, that’s what happens.

This is much more telling than the suppressed voter turnout. Excellent find.

There is only one way to effectively get bullies to stop, and it’s not good for your continued employment. I recommend seeking a new job and reporting your issues to someone in charge. At least those are some productive actions you can (legally) take.
