People don’t eat parsley?
It’s been really holding me back in learning coding. I felt pretty comfortable at first learning javascript, but as I got further the code was increasingly hard to look back to and understand, to the point I had to spend a lot of time understanding my own code.
Does it truely matter after the code has been compiled if it has more full words or not?
I would agree
Sweden here. We have Starbucks but it is far far from popular, I think the main demographic is young women, Swedes don’t typically go for sweet/weak coffee like what they serve.
Dunkin’ has existed but I think it absolutely failed.
Pizza hut exists, but not in many locations, however they have been around a long time and I think they are moderately successful.
Burger King snd McDonalds thrive and have many locations. McDonalds struggle in the northern region where people swear by Max burgers instead.
Subway exist with moderate amounts of locations, have been for a long time. Probably doing okay.
Kfc is rare, but exists in the larger cities.
Dominos exists but I don’t know who is buying, in my opinion its sub par pizza at a high price point with poor service and long delivery times.
I’ll just tell them about GDPR
We have like barbecue coal or bricettes, and coal ore as far as I know but I am no coal miner.
Either way it’s not like we get them confused because our language is a certain way.
In my language I don’t think there’s a distinction between the two, but you can say it’s barbecue coal etc.
That’s Titan Quest. Nice game.
I was 27 for three years
Never. Not a thing.
Sweden.
USB logo upwards, sheer magic
I am not really missing anything specific rather than thinking the default layout and appearance is quite bad and gives a bad expression. As mentioned its basically an overpriced authenticator -tamagotchi to me so I put zero effort into changing it.
On my private phone I run nova launcher, though.
Samsungs out of the box experience gives me anxiety to be honest. Had a few for work, luckily their singular purpose is running the authenticator app.
Your first part about references was one of the things I disliked the most about Reddit where someone would make a pop culture reference and it would spiral into.a comment chain of just quotes with no originality, I’m glad that hasn’t caught on in Lemmy.
My second least favourite thing, US defaultism, is alive and well on Lemmy unfortunately. On Reddit you would be told it’s an American website and to deal with it, well this is the fediverse and I don’t want to deal with it. Just say where you are from or what country news are about, it’s not much to ask.
Without really having an opinion on the matter - I think there’s a difference in having a use and being adopted.
Something can be absolutely awesome in theory but useless if no one is using it.
It was optional to use, you could control leaning on bikes I remember but I never used the feature.
GTA IV had it for PS3, I remember.
Isn’t xbox the only one that doesn’t?
Parsley is one of my favorite things.
And chimichurri is amazing
