This is a great feature. I just enabled it, and it works just fine. However, I was a bit confused when I didn’t see any backup codes generated until I realized that the SMS/Call method is, in this case, the backup method. So, while it is more convenient to use an MFA app, I’m not sure about the security if the SMS method is still an option.
“only in the United States”, as usual!
In the West Bank, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) is the key player and just like Hamas, it is a reliable source of information (coughing, hospital bombing).
The thing is that it can’t be a ceasefire until Hamas frees all the hostages. And even then, there is no guarantee that there won’t be another terrorist attack.
Blindly accepting the claims of a terrorist organization is the new norm apparently.
Wow, Poilievre’s remark is wrong on so many levels. When it comes to foreign interference in Canada’s security, partisanship must be put aside. Once again he is showing his opportunistic side.
Why 700? Why not 701 or 698?! Gaza is controlled by Hamas. Gaza’s authorities are Hamas. Everything they say is blatantly false and only serves their purpose, which is to annihilate anyone who is not a Muslim. The fact that so-called news agencies use them as a source highlights the issues with the media in this day and age.
Yes, let’s find ways to justify Hamas’s barbaric terror attacks! This Whataboutism is sickening.
Good! I hope they wipe Gaza off of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and their supporters once and for all.
Sadly, I already have them.
True, but I got 7 Pro last year and I’m happy with it therefore don’t want to upgrade my perfectly fine phone especially considering its low trade-in value if I decide to trade it for an upgrade and receive the Watch2 as a free (!!) bonus. However, for someone actively looking to upgrade their phone, I think the bundle deal is absolutely great for them.
Well, it seems like I’ll let my $200 Google credit expire because the pricing of the new Watch is ridiculous and unjustifiable for me to purchase it.
Initially, I was contemplating pre-ordering the Watch 2 and using my Google Credit from last year’s Pixel 7 Pro purchase. However, if they indeed make this offer available in Canada as well, I might opt for the bundle instead. I’ll have to wait and see the details of the offer.
This has happened before: Iran has taken American-Iranians hostage and demanded a ransom. A Democrat president paid the ransom and justified the payment somehow to silence those who opposed giving in to a terrorist regime and funding their activities.
While the CRTC’s announcement about cheaper phone plans is promising, I’ll reserve my belief until I see these cost-effective options firsthand. I prefer to adopt a ‘seeing is believing’ approach and await the actual unveiling of these plans to gauge any tangible positive changes.
Yes, and that’s the cherry on top!
One thing that I miss about that Reddit site is the constant posts of people asking/nagging about monthly updates. :))
Iranian-Canadians have been asking the Liberal government of Canada to do this countless times, especially in recent years and following the shooting down of Ukrainian flight PS752 by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in January 2020. So far, sadly, the government has ignored the calls. Perhaps a foreign government can put pressure on them!
