Yeah, problem is it’s still 16 months until Election Day, and 18 until the next Congress is seated. That’s a lot of time for this current government to continue to do harm. I really wish we had recall elections at the national level.

If there was no cursor, where was the code he was typing being entered?
Pen Pen the penguin, living a comfortable life, having someone else pay your bills, all while the world burns outside.
Well, There’s Your Problem, a podcast about engineering disasters, with slides. Not as dry as it sounds, a lot of it is taking the piss out of the people in decision-making roles who made the disaster possible. The video version is recommended for afore mentioned slide decks; none of the hosts actually appear on screen.
I suppose the one meager upside is that this stone is now tied around Vance’s neck, too, for the next presidential election.
The reporter kind of dropped the ball when it’s a 99-1 vote and they don’t name the one holdout senator.
Fair. I assumed “Sisko” was sufficient if the reader was aware they were in a Star Trek-related community.
A photoshop of the painting “Pondering the Orb,” by fantasy artist Angus McBride. A wizard sits at a table staring at a crystal ball, his face illuminated by the orb’s glow. The wizard’s face has been replaced by Sisko’s, while the crystal ball has been replaced with a baseball.
I think the Switch would be the better example, where up, down, left, and right are four distinct buttons, to be used like ABXY when playing in single Joycon multiplayer mode.
Of the TOS movies, the even ones are great, the odd ones are much weaker.
Last time the administration said another country didn’t have any cards they destroyed a quarter of Russia’s strategic bomber fleet a few weeks later.
“You left Spacedock without a tractor beam?”
“Have you seen the size of an Excelsior-class shuttle bay? We don’t have any room for farm equipment.”
I think the issue is licensing the clips of other media they sometimes composite with the animated characters, green-screen style. To stream or release on home media, they’d need to either renegotiate with each rights holder, animate some replacement, or chop those bits out of the episode. It’s just too much work for too little return.
No, she pretends to be a RINO, but toes the Republican line whenever it actually matters.
She’s a Republican?
I’m more concerned about the general. She’s a wannabe centrist Republican, so if she looses the primary, it’d probably be to a MAGA hardliner. At least they’d be honest with where stand, but I don’t like those positions.
On the other hand, if they did vote for impeachment, call them and tell them to keep up the good fight.
They’re no longer serving up the correct vote. The vote to table the impeachment was roll call #175, you can see the number in the URL. It looks like they’re now showing the votes for roll call #178, a vote to adjourn.
EDIT: this link seems to be working better https://clerk.house.gov/evs/2025/roll175.xml
I see her down in the O’s with a Nay vote. (Which, confusingly, is a vote in favor of impeachment, as the vote was to table the motion.)
Season 3 of Picard refutes part of panel 2. Also, dozens? I can only remember David, though I’m not as well-versed in TOS.
