Bob Jones called this out MONTHS ago. I guess now we know why the right wing keeps screaming for CBC to be de-funded.
they used the phrase “freeze in the dark” again, eh? Man they know how to hold on to a grudge for well over a generation.

I keep waiting for Amazon to start generating AI-driven online profiles spouting Ai-driven selling points for AI-generated media.
It’s the AI version of “Flood the zone with shit” except the entire internet is The Zone.
this is the “can it run DOOM” of manufacturing
“Space Doggity” by Jonathan Coulton still gets me. It’s about Laika, the first dog in space. Also the first dog to not come back from space. Jonathan is a particularly genius songwriter and this one does not disappoint.

Why Should I Cry For You is both beautiful and pleasant and ruinous
about as inspiring as Canadians that WANT to be ruled by American laws.
waiting for religious fundamentalists to get upset at the numbers ‘666’ appearing in the petition title.
rather than uninstalling adblockers entirely, can’t they just whitelist YouTube? Ad Trackers only have value when they track people across multiple sites: if the tracker only functions on YT then users get the video views they want and YT gets near-worthless tracking data.
I look forward to protests where people dress like characters in The Handmaid’s Tale.

Bingo! If accountability hurts the bottom line, then The Big Money will argue against accountability in any form.
Big Money got a mighty voice.
Big Money make no sound.

“Postmedia should have gone bankrupt in 2016, when its revenues fell to where they could no longer service its more than $600 million in debt. Then-CEO Paul Godfrey pulled a fast one, however, by replacing its majority hedge fund owner with one from New Jersey and axing about half of the company’s debt to keep the shell game going. Few in Canada noticed the change in ownership, noted the New York Times a few years later, because it “happened so quietly that Postmedia’s own financial news site described it as a debt restructuring.” Postmedia is again under water and facing bankruptcy if Ottawa doesn’t bail it out.”
Postmedia is done. They exist to pull the country apart. Let them rot.
just his cock, like usual.

I just want to mention the clever graphic design of the Illustration by Ben Kothe

Bat Out Of Hell was the first vinyl LP I ever bought. I used to buy singles with my allowance (2 bucks a week) but the Bat Out Of Hell single wasn’t even the whole song: I was having none of that bullshit. There were a couple of other really good songs from that album being played on the radio, so I did the math, saved up and bought it. Little did I know of the awesomeness that I would ingest the first time I sat to listen to the whole thing.
if you’re thinking of music from diamond commercials, it might be Spring by Vivaldi
