  • A lot of folk decry Cloudflare as a terrible corp (and their AI push now involves the login page shunted to the side while 70% of the screen is a relatively blank section with some sentence about using their AI), but what is the non-3rd party alternative? Does one rely on sharing the IP instead? It is impossible to have public (non-family) traffic without a Cloudflare/Google DNS resolver right?

Being on a standard ISP I cannot use a higher-level rDNS.

  • As with a significant amount of seemingly innocuous expressions (in this case, a meme), you can often read the perspective and opinion of the poster. Hell, take my 3 posts. I take pride in giving, as well as defying laws; I am either a fan of immature toilet humour, or familiar with anal play and douching; and I am unemployed and my views on working are so dismal I’ll have to lose significantly more self-pride before ever attempting to be employed in 99% of jobs. Psychoanalysis goes deeper; the way I described my posts just now can tell yet more about me

  • Breaking character, I’m glad there are pockets of the internet where offensive humour is still freely used. Not 4chan offensive, fuck them. But comedy containing degrading jokes are an important portion of life imo. South Park, US roasts, Cards Against Humanity, even (cringing when I say this) Ricky Gervais has a valid place in the world of comedy. I don’t like them all, but I recognise that suppressing any form of creative expression is more abhorrent than doing something the majority of the tribe dislikes. Hell, the folk on Omegle are a unique level of tough because they routinely see a mix of uncensored strangers in their respective domains.
