Is that number plate written in linear b?

Its a bad thing that my country is banning people here from hearing speakers because of their positions on Israel. It’s not a “failed blow” against them, it’s a blow against us.

I sometimes do the “yeah we’ve always been bad, nothing to see here, what you thought this was a free country??” cynicmogging thing. But I am gonna admit I didn’t expect 20 years ago I would ever find myself in the revoking TYT members visas timeline.

I have introduced my children to cow and chicken.

I wonder if anyone sells delayed annuities where you pay for it now but don’t collect til normal retirement age?

And despite that 300000% better than living in England.

I think its that in an individualist schema children are a cost not a benefit. Obvs they have a sentimental value once you’ve had them but your life will be significantly more stressful, expensive and overwhelming and you get no reward besides hopefully liking the child (which not all parents do). You could save the effort and have someone you like around by making a friend.
In a world where children were reared socially and where their surplus labour was enjoyed socially we’d again be individually incentivised to have more children. But when the (material) costs of reproduction are a burden on individuals and nuclear families and the (material) rewards are primarily siphoned by the parasite class, it is a bad deal and the amazing thing is the desire is strong enough despite that that as many people have kids as do.

I’m sure the Brits could give a run for their money.

Don’t need roads if you can’t afford gas.

It did have a warning at the start though?

It makes it easier for alignment blocks to form. But one commentary I read suggest this is a reaction to a perception we are close to peak oil demand and wanting to sell as much as possible before going over that hump.

Some people want non-normatives to get back in the institutions and out of sight where they belong. Some people don’t want governments to pay for accommodations or in some countries, disability payments. Some people want to erode legislation protecting the disabled in the workplace (through stigmatising the perceived recipients) or to narrow the group that applies to (you’re not really disabled!) Some people want it to be cool to bully disabled people and find that (compassionate) recognition of disability increases public sympathy.

The whole world has become somewhat of a casino hasn’t it.
