Good catch, you’ve convinced me!
I was just thinking about how we don’t have enough SpaceX related debris in space and also how we’re way to safe from debris falling on earth.
I load 16 tons and what do I get?

Yeah, I guess what I was really answering to was the comparison with Luddites. Luddites never thought tbe tanning machines were sentient beings taking over, and I don’t think most of the people criticising AI as a threat do either. The use of the word “AI” is questionable, but it’s been used for a long time to refer to even more basic programs, like pathfinders or programming videogame enemies.
Are you sure it’s AI? Seems like it also could’ve been made with a vectorial drawing sofware like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape. I’m not seeing anything that screams “obviously AI”; but perhaps you notived something I didn’t?
[Edit: I saw through another comment that their site states;
Our platform integrates AI to lower the cost of legal services
This does give more credence to your claim, but I’d still like to know what gave it away, to better spot slop in the future.]
Ludditism wasn’t that far from Marxism tho? I guess they only had what Lenin refers to as “trade union consciousness” rather than “true class consciousness” in that they just had revendications that involved bargaining with the capitalists rather than overthrowing them; but that’s still part of the worker movement, and they did a lot. Breaking the machines that were used to replace the workers was just a part of it.
I concur. And it makes sense: Why would people unwilling to pay agriculture labour be willing to pay a designer?
This thread showed up just in time because I just saw one of my favorite taglines ever. Sometimes I wish they linked to the original post/comment.
| don’t think it’s quite that Pokemon Black and White, but I guess it’s possible he might spend an evening in a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Let me be Pokemon Crystal clear: all that will visibly come of this is a pack of QAnon Pokemon Detective Pikachus tooling up with their Pokemon Sword and Shields and forming a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team on Twitter.
Say no more, Imma draw some red triangles on trans women’s faces to give validation.
“Interesting. And how much did you say it costs to run Deltarune on that secondhand thinkpad of yours? Interesting (scribbles notes). Now, what if one were to play pokemon using an emulator?”
It’s like what Karaba the witch did to men, turning them into magical objects that must obey her. 196 is like transphobic Karaba.

We don’t dislike you. Just know that we wouldn’t hesitate to push you into a meat grinder if it brought the triumph of communism one day closer. But we would much rather not have to do that!
But will the AI be able to see in its sample which words form a coherent pattern and which are arbitrary? Or will it always try to interpret the message as a whole, and as a result, misinterpret it all? Since the AI doesn’t actually “understand”, I wouldn’t expect it to recognize what should or shouldn’t be understandable.
I Brooklyn rage agree. Let us Carthage must be destroyed make an habit of this henceforth.
The makers of the Matrix couldn’t find out how tomatoes tasted, the juice was too corrosive for their probes.
I will not fear. Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will allow fear to go through me, and when it has passed, only I will remain.
