Is there any argument that could be made that it might be in Iran’s interests to let the enemy think it was more successful than it was, leading Iran to give false confirmations on the success of the assassinations? Or would there be no reason to do that? I take it that Iran never did confirm Esmail Qaani’s death, given he is clearly still alive. But that makes me wonder if there are other people that the entity claims to have killed but that Iran has not confirmed are dead, in other words more people like Esmail Qaani who are in a Schrödinger’s cat situation but might pop up like Qaani. Or was he the only one in that limbo who wasn’t verified by Iran as dead? If there are other discrepancies like that, then we’re back to where @Awoo@hexbear.net was at, wondering which others might still be kicking around.

This sounds very plausible to me, but I’m curious about who the differing bourgeois factions are and where the line is between their opposing desires. Is this a finance capital vs industrial capital thing, where finance doesn’t want to risk escalation and possible nuclear war but the evangelicals in industrial capital do? Or is that way off?

I keep reading comments around these parts from people who are smarter than me saying that liberalism is winning in China, even that it already has, and that our leftist hopes for China have been dashed. These aren’t anti-Dengists either, they’re very pro-CPC saying a big turn to liberal policies is relatively recent. I don’t know, is it just doomerism? I read things like this and it helps refill some of that waning hope.

None of the vaccines I’ve had in the past, which I think were mostly pfizer, were too bad as far as how I reacted to them. I’m not too concerned about how hard each hits, so long as it’s temporary. I just want the one that is most effective right now for the variants that are out now. I should have paid closer attention when I saw it, but I remember in a thread here someone was talking about making sure which one you were getting, and even asking the nurse or whoever was doing the shot to show you the label on the container to make sure.

I’ll have to check to see, but I would really hope my clinic would be able to get it for me for less than $202 or $140 if I do have to pay since I’m on the state healthcare plan, but I don’t know. Even $140 sounds absurd to me. I’m not a veteran but thanks for the information.
