72·11 days agoIt’s actually kind of crap. The first two lines are things you do, then suddenly it shifts to lines being ingredients and columns being things you do. As someone else pointed out, it’s not completely obvious which ingredients go into the mixing step one after the other. Also, if you have a recipe where you have steps to make ingredients used later on, it kind of falls apart.
I would not want to use this to make lasagna!

It gets twice as hot as a normal oven in a few minutes and makes amazing pizza. You can buy dough, pizza sauce, and shredded cheese - or make all of these from scratch very easily.
It doesn’t take a lot of space. My rough estimate is that it uses the same electricity as cooking pizza in an oven.
If you’re spending $25 on pizza then it will quickly pay for itself.
One downside is that it does take some space, so if you’re in a really cramped living environment (dorm room, Manhattan apartment) then you might not have room. Also, you may end up eating a lot more pizza than you should…
Tax is not included in listed prices in the USA.
It’s infuriating.
The state that I lived in there had a tax at restaurants. Each town was allowed to add up to a percent to that. Some did 0%, some 0.5% some 1%. Also, alcohol was taxed at a different rate.
So basically you had no idea what the actual cost for food would be when you ordered.

Is your expectation that hiking means only people that don’t have to spend most of their time working and can wander the earth instead?
5·15 days agoIt’s a form of lying, but with a specific meaning.
Like how the 9th (or 8th, depending on how you’re counting) Commandment says to not bear false witness. That doesn’t mean that people following an Abrahamic faith cannot lie… just that they can’t lie in that one specific way.
Parallel construction is a way to present evidence illegally obtained by coming up with a plausible-seeming other way it was found.
So, rather than saying “we illegally stopped and searched the defendant” they’ll get an “informant” (sometimes paid, sometimes coerced) to swear that they tipped them off beforehand.
