A cop buddy of mine once told me: “There’s the spirit of the law, and the letter of the law. The cops in my department who go by the letter of the law are the worst people to work with.”

We’re stuck using it at work. It’s such a struggle to remind my computer every day that I don’t want to save any documents to the cloud.

I fucking HATE OneDrive with a passion.

I would argue that this blatant corruption was started by Dick Cheney when he was vice president. Before Cheney began openly defying precedent and the rules set in place, politicians did their best to hide their contempt for the rule of law and did their dirty deal making in the dark. Not ol’ Dick, though. He didn’t give two shits about what was legal or ethical and now here we are. The world is better off with that fucker dead.
The Tick!!! That cartoon was ridiculously funny.

Welfare for farmers… wait a second, isn’t that socialism?
What is that horrible tattoo supposed to be?

Please, please, please…

I was going more for the chorus, but if you’re looking for straight up lyrics to represent the moment, then my backup is “New Aryans” by Reagan Youth.

Oh, sweet summer child.
OMG, Golden Boy!!! I haven’t seen that anime since 2000 or 2001. It’s a classic. :D

I don’t know what this is, but I feel like I should upvote it.

It’s a bit older, but the HBO series ROME is amazing. There are two seasons and I’ve watched both at least 11 times each. Hell, you could throw it on right now and I’d sit down to watch it.

I stand corrected, thank you. So they actually shouldn’t be making voting machines at all then.

Exactly. Diebold can build ATM machines that work flawlessly, but somehow their voting machines have “glitches” during elections? Bullshit.
ROME.
