yes i’ve heard jets before, i’ve lived near an airport that lets military jets touch down pretty frequently for pretty much my whole life, my thought line was wondering about how sophisticated of an air defense you would need to take down “israeli” jets, i feel like i see more descriptions of the sounds of the terror of israeli jets sounding near gaza and lebanon compared to other places, i was wondering if it was possible to strike down israeli jets more easily due to arrogance
in reports you see that “israeli planes can be heard in the sky”, is that normal for modern fighter jets flying bombing missions or are they being arrogant and flying planes closer than they need to in order to help inspire terror?
it’s like 2 or 3 people who get yelled at when they rear their heads
man ur totally right israel assassinated the secretary general of hezbollah, that means the resistance has lost! wait… getting word… they already did this 30 years ago. also you tag people with @GlueBear@hexbear.net learn how to use the site
israel is so small, is it not viable to destroy their planes at air bases? I hate feeling so ignorant about all this I honestly don’t have any clue what makes something militarily viable or not and i dont even really know how to learn besides vague osmosis
they’re a genocidal fascist state of course they would underestimate their enemies’ capabilities while overestimating their own. but yes I would think we would see some sort of response within the week unless hezbollah really was basically decapitated by this
who will give the order? no matter what their line of succession/appointment of a new secretary general looks like, it will take time for them to settle in
thinking some more, if they do decide to go in and bomb the shit out of tel aviv immediately they will probably want to coordinate with the rest of the resistance to strike as devastating blow as possible, which will take time to do as well.
ok thank you it is confirmed then.
seeing claim deputy commander in IRGC was killed too supposedly confirmed by iranian media, don’t see anything on english sites though confirmed here https://hexbear.net/comment/5440287
they’ve assassinated officials in revenge for an assassination before. or I know the pflp has at least
I’m so deeply sorry comrade. I’m afraid too of what’s coming for the people living under the threat of zionist terrorism. Make sure to take care of yourself
right my point is i dont understand why it’s advantageous. i think it makes you look untrustworthy and or stupid to make a bold claim that he’s alive and then like half a day later it comes out he’s dead
it just feels like they’re choosing to degrade public trust in the news for short term gains. it reminds me of when covid was first blowing up, facui had a good reason to lie but it severely degraded public trust in masking which had very bad effects later on. also, to me giving false hope only for it to come out he died is worse than just riding it out but idk im not too set on it ig
seems short sighted to me
another question: what the hell is going on with iranian state media that they claimed he was alive?
i seriously doubt it will happen that fast. but to me this does seem like a nail in the coffin, what level of lower escalation is left?
so… is there a line of succession here? I know nothing about the structure of hezbollah, is there any good articles on it?
yes I agree. especially since it was just confirmed that Nasrallah did die.
