Used to be aRatherDapperFox@lemmy.ml. Moved for various reasons, mainly server load.
Wannabe streamer, here for all your mediocre gaming needs.
Everyone I know who uses an iPhone has had fried pins on the cable, not necessarily on their device. No one I know personally has had any issues with USB-C.
Though both experiences are anecdotal, I think we can take this away from our conversation at least: no cable design is perfect. Lol!
Consistent in frying pins and fraying cables.
Indeed. I find the inverse to be true. It’s getting harder and harder to browse Reddit without being logged in, but Lemmy is no problem.
I’d be happy to try and help. Where can I get a copy of the game to test? I see the website, but there appears to be multiple downloads, and I want to ensure we’re working with the same starting point.
I actually really like openSUSE Tumbleweed for gaming, personally. It’s rolling release, keeps up-to-date with the latest feature and security releases, and manages to be far more stable than any other rolling release I’ve tried, and I’ve tried my fair share lol.
It does require a little extra work at the beginning to get all your stuff sorted out – non-free drivers and libraries, though they’re easier to get access to than ever – but once that’s done, it’s largely minimal tinkering to get games up and running on Steam or Lutris or Bottles or whatever else launcher you choose to use. I was running Elden Ring the day after it dropped and all I had to do was switch to ProtonGE, for example, and while that’s not the greatest achievement ever I think it’s pretty great.
Valve has really done a lot of good work though, and using most Linux distros to game seems largely trivial compared to how it used to be.
I like this plan! It’s right along with what I was thinking already, and plays well with themes already introduced to the party about the dead god. Any ideas about how they might go about getting the crystal from within the dream world?
TL;DR - At the website dndstore (dot) wizards (dot) com, you can no longer buy JUST the physical books. You must buy the bundled Physical + Digital copies for 59.95 USD. This makes a decent amount of sense from a business perspective, as WotC is all-in on a digital gaming world with D&D Beyond and all that. Physical copies of the book are (as of right now) still available on, say, Amazon for ~28 USD.
The argument is that it’s faith that gets you into heaven, but the proof of true faith is found in works. If you claim to be faithful but do not do good works, your faith is dead.
