Not only do I think you are confused, I think you’re being a bully about it and should check yourself.
It’s one thing to think about, and even to write about it publicly (which he did)
But this guy, also went and brought his gun, scope, and armor to the place trump was known to be, waited for 12 hours, and then was finally caught one hole before trump would’ve been in sight if the early reports are to be believed.
If it is not an assassination attempt, what else could’ve it been? The guy made explicit public posts about assassinating trump, then went to where trump was with a gun, and then waited for trump to be in the sights of his gun. To me it sounds like the security agent interrupted his attempt at assassinating trump, not anything else.
I think it would be easy to suggest that, had that agent not interrupted that guy, he would’ve tried shooting at trump.
By no means do I support trump, but, my hate for him isn’t so strong for it to deform reality I hope.

Not only is she not old and not in mental decline, but she’s also charismatic, engaging, and she is progressive. Congress and the courts will limit her policies of course, but that’s by design, the government is not just the president.
Beyond that, with picking Walz and other strategic picks in her campaign, she’s shown that she knows how to form a good team and avoid landmines.
I’m looking forward to the Harris presidency and voting For her, not just against Trump.

If Kelly gets the VP, the democratic governor of Arizona gets to pick his replacement, it’s not a special election or a tossup!
Mark Kelly seems like the right pick to me, he’s got the overview effect and has unique experiences and leadership, already has experience in the Senate which is their main job, can probably take his swing state blue, and his seat can be easily replaced.
Shapiro is too pro-Netanyahu IMO, I’m neutral on Beshear, but his seat isn’t as easily replaceable, and losing a democratic governor would suck, and he might not take the state blue.

I too am thinking this, Biden has picked an amazingly effective team that is making big changes for the positive for the average person, and has made some key strategic victories despite the courts and Congress being so against him.
He’s old, he needs his nap time more often than a spry 35 year old, his speech difficulties suck - but the actions his administration makes are not ignorable to the rich, and so I think the rich attempt to make them ignorable to the masses with their control of capital
I enjoy it - it’s smoother and sweeter and and with a different fruitier flavor than whiskey while packing the same punch.
I own a bottle and sometimes sip on it or include it as an ingredient in a mixed drink or cooked meal.
I’d recommend trying it at least once if you already enjoy liquor

I’ll make a point to not buy Mexican avocados and mangos until this is fully resolved because who knows what’s happening with them if the people who are charged with ensuring their safety get beaten up.
It’s drawn for comedic effect, but ideally it should be in a proper holster (it can still be in that area, like an appendix holster), that covers the trigger and protects the hammer - prevents it from falling out - and also ensures the weapon is always pointing slightly away from the body towards the ground
