When I heard about this movie I thought is was a live action movie adaptation of the anime classic Doomed Megalopolis.

Turns out is was a doomed Megalopolis of a different sort.

When they complain about being fact checked and that not fact checking them was a prerequisite for them to attend the debate, that tells you everything about what they stand for.

The people who can’t be faffed to pay enough attention to what is going on beyond their home to realize who it is that actually has their best interests in mind. The women who voted for Trump and then after his SCOTUS picks gutted a woman’s right to abortion were all shocked Pikachu about how that happened and how the state they live in is now completely blocking their access to life giving medications and procedures in the name of saving fetuses that they won’t give two shits about once born.

Or the fucking morons who were utterly flabbergasted that the removal of the benefits of the ACA and the government assistance offered by it suddenly cancelled their ability to have health insurance. And then they turn around and buy Trump’s utter lies that it was somehow Biden’s fault and not the entire Republican party who worked tirelessly to get those things shitcanned.

Those are the ones that truly piss me off. And they can all go fuck themselves. Conservatives are just selfish people who don’t care about anyone but themselves and their immediate loved ones(if even that). And I wish nothing but pain and misery on all of them.

And undecideds are dipshit morons who can’t pull their heads out of their asses long enough to see the mess the world and the country is in and realize who’s actually responsible for all of it.

We have an aging, fat, sick society and they require very expensive care.

This is the exact reason why the mandate existed. Having all the young and healthy people paying into the insurance as well offsets the costs. That being said it would have been far better to have a public insurance run by the government that wasn’t beholden to profit. AKA M4A

When one side of the political spectrum continually lies about literally everything, stating the obvious has basically become the job of journalists.

Actually up until about a decade or so ago it had been Republicans who were promising to reschedule weed. The Democrats had been firmly against it until very very recently.

The president is immune from prosecution for any official acts. There’s nothing that can stop them from being persecuted for them.

Israel wants Trump. They know that Trump will supercharge their campaign and they are counting on Jill Stein to siphon off votes from Harris. That’s why they’ve upped their campaign like this. They are goading Stein to get more press and convince more liberal voters. Because they know that, due to the significant democrat base that unreservedly supports Israel no matter what they do, Harris will never pull her support while campaigning but they are sure that if she wins Biden and she will start playing hardball to get them to stop and they don’t want to stop, they want to wipe out all Palestinians. This has been a stated goal of theirs. And Trump and the Republicans will help them do it more than Harris will.

I understand and sympathize with your ginger argument but honestly I really liked the Little Mermaid live action. It’s the only one of those that hadn’t made me cringe.

First off they are not unconditionally supporting the genocide. Both Biden and Harris are working for a ceasefire. The fact that Israel is not complying or even giving it any serious thought is because we have a plurality of people in this country who do unconditionally support Israel and will not vote for a party that does not actively show support for Israel. So if Biden or Harris actually came out and said they would stop providing weapons and money to Israel they would lose 10 times more votes than the number of people who are voting for Jill Stein because she’s being critical of them for “unconditional support of Israel’s genocide”.

If you are voting for Jill Stein because of the whole Israel issue. Then you deserve to lose all of the rights that get taken away if and when Trump wins. For reference see Roe versus Wade.

The point is she doesn’t have a base. She’s never actually worked to get one. She comes out of the woodwork every 4 years to poke holes in the liberal candidate talking points and cause these rifts in the left. The people who vote for her are almost all independent voters who are “sick and tired of voting for the lesser of two evils”. Yet not one of those people will get up off their asses to push their local legislatures to enact ranked choice voting in order to provide an actual avenue for a third party candidate to get elected.

Then you need to get out more because she’s been on a whole mess of main stream media.

It’s not conservative voters who are going to be voting for her.
