We do not need to spend more on defense, cos there is no threat. I mean Russia is losing against Ukraine, how tf are they supposed to be a threat for the rest of europe? And neither China nor India are threating Europe. The only answer I MIGHT accept is defense against the USA.
Well, we currently are controlling rivers via climate change - making them vanish. We see this currently with the Rhine and the Danube, both their water levels are at a record low, leading to shutdown of nuclear powerplants cos they can’t be cooled anymore and massive economic damages since ships can’t transport as much stuff compared to when the water level is high.

Prolly they all live in a big city. And living in a big city sucks ass, but most people have no choice because that’s where the jobs are. I luckily live outside a big city in small village with forests and fields around me. But still near enough a medium-sized city so that I don’t have to commute for ages. But I see that not everyone can live in places like mine, so the big city it is, where it is loud and full. Kinda understandable that u want to get away from it, then. But yeah, it doesn’t mean that u need to fly to other side of the earth to do vacation, usually your own country has enough pretty spots to spend ur vacation.
‘Ultras’ of any football club should be categorized as domestic terror groups or whatever. No matter the country, all they do is just smear graffiti, destroy public property, be drunk, starting fighta and being generally obnoxious POS. Not really, the UI and stuff like keyboard shortcuts are completely different (like the command key for example, wtf is this). When I switched to Linux, it was really intuitive. Stuff was in the places I expected them to be. Definitely not the case case with MAC OS. Had to constantly google how to do the most basic stuff. Linux really is easier to switch to than Mac OS if you come from Windows.

Would this really happen, tho? Also you could give a prompt to new users on this issue and tell them how they can subsequently block those accounts. Sure, there are always pros and cons to doing things, but in my experience the current approach where you give a select few people total control always results in total echochambers. Which I believe on the broader scale just reinforces the political divide of a society.

The solution is quite simple, really. Mods (or anyone else for that matter) should not be able to ban people. The concept of global banning shouldn’t exist. If an account posts/comments stuff you like, then just block it on a personal level. Global banning (especially when the decision can only be done by the mods / a select few people) will always lead to echo chambers.
