  • Unless you do obviously dumb things, like not doing anything at all and letting the enemies hit you, you literally could not fail at baldurs gate on default difficulty. I actually find it way too easy to succeed and far too forgiving. You could genuinely go through the whole game with your “picked random everything” character. Youll get your ass kicked a few times, but youll never get stuck anywhere. The only part thats complex is the story IMO. There are dozens of alternative endings and secret story bits and hidden interactions between characters. Almost every quest, no matter how small, has multiple endings. You could probably sink 1000 hours into BG3 without going through most of the story content.

  • In my neck of the (american) woods, it usually is “free delivery! No fees if your meal is $15 or more!” according to their ads, but then they artifically raise the menu prices in the app. A meal might cost you $12 with tax at a burger place near me, but on ubereats / doordash that same meal is $19 because they raised the menu price. That way when you go to pay, it says there was “no extra fee”.

  • Depending on your state they can also purge the voter rolls and just unregister whomever they want at their whim. Ive had family members and friends get purged and, somehow, the notice that they were purged just magically never showed up in the mail, so they would go to vote and be sent away at the polls. As a result I have to manually recheck my registration before every single election. Each state is totally and completely different in this regard, you cant take any assumption from your home state and extrapolate it to others.

  • I agree careers get ruined more often over silly things now, but its not anywhere close to a modern issue. People have been getting some form of “cancelled” for pretty much all of time, sometimes for a good reason and sometimes for a bad reason. If you really live your life in constant terror over the idea, maybe you should become self-sufficient and move off the grid. Thats kinda the only solution to the problem. People are social animals and social animals sometimes make stupid social decisions such as “cancelling” one another and its just kinda unavoidable.

  • Ive never had any issue like that to be honest, and I have been using FF literally daily for years. Most of my social circle are yucky apple product users so I haven’t even heard of this issue until now. Im sorry you and other people have it because tbh FF is basically perfect, at least for what I need it for

  • Kinda both lol. She has been very sweet the last few days, moreso than normal, but when she came back I was heading out the door to go to work so I just picked her up, put her inside and left for work (the photo I took is actually from my kitty camera in my living room). She is an old lady kitty though so she sleeps around 14 or so hours a day and doesnt eat a whole ton. Im just glad she is back because her previous caretakers had her declawed and we live on the border of suburbia and rural farms, so lots of coyotes and such linger about

  • I dont mean to be rude but I think its something mostly between your social sphere. I played pik1/pik2/pik3 all on release, imo pikmin 2 was by far the best out of the three and pikmin 3 was the worst. The dungeons in 2 were imo a great idea but I do agree that they were poorly executed in almost every instance. Especially towards the end of the game they became a slog. I think the newer approach to dungeons should hopefully remedy this issue but we will certainly see

This interests me a lot. How does a non-profit landscaping company work if I may ask? Do you guys do lots of volunteer/low cost work for certain people? I hope Im not being too nosy. I mostly am wondering because I know a local Mr. Moneybags in my town who happens to have gotten rich entirely off of his landscaping business which he started around 25-30 years ago, but even for him it took an exceptionally long time to actually build up that wealth. He wasnt making a decent living until about 10 years ago and got properly wealthy right before covid
