Russia is trying to genocide Ukranians, and India has a Hindu Nationalist leader (aka a synonym of our local Christian Nationalist leader)…so yes, I completely understand that the West will do its best to undermine it’s political opponents, but also, they haden to have some existentially oppressive and shitty aspects to their collective as well.

I’m m happy that they’re giving up on a non-feasible idea, but I’m so fucking sad that they are giving up on the larger hope of finding a post-fossil-fuel alternative to displace the ICE (also, fuck ICE in both contexts)

I mean, if breaking the propaganda arm of US cultural bullshit (aka regulating US Big Tech) is a defining issue in this battleground, let’s make it BRICCS and add Canada as well. It’s too bad that BRICS has some incredibly authoritarian and brutally imperialist leaders themselves.

I’m a huge skeptic of the idea that the US would ever do anything to legitimately “make the world a better place” without having some sort of ulterior motive for fucking over poor people of color in the global south, but there’s no fucking way I’m reading an article published by RT.

These numbers seem to all be pre-DOGE bullshit. This is still the pre-Trump 2.0 data. Just wait until the 2025 numbers come out, and then 2026 will likely be even worse. If the US can survive and make it to the other side of this nightmare, there’s going to be so much work to do.
