I’m curious, why haven’t they done so already? Do they trade in Yuan or dollars? Why is it “selfish” for China to prefer local currency with certain countries?

Having a hard time understanding: why does the long term treasury yield going up cause a problem for US and associated interests? Is it because they have to pay more in interest on bonds? Can’t the US govt / Fed create money as needed to service these debts?

Wow, this was a great read, and extremely dark and harrowing. It’s troubling that these stories are totally absent from the majority of Western media. This war should have never started 😔
