Punch nazis, trebuchet TERFs.
I am building Voyager, a client for lemmy!
I don’t remember the last time I needed/missed 3.5mm
60 days notice is standard on Mastodon, it would be nice to see instances commit to that.
I am the voyager dev!
Oh it would be cool to see filter by instance for the getPosts endpoint too!
hmm, I don’t think Lemmy’s API allows for filtering communities by instance. That would be a really cool feature though!
Edit I found this open issue: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/1298
Try to login to any instance and submit with blank username/password.
Alternatively, (bit more complicated but provides a nice interface to browse) you can select an instance in the signup flow, and press the (...)
icon in the header to “connect as guest”
What do you mean by searching for other instances?
You can browse any instance as a guest. Not sure it that’s what you mean!
:( It works on lemmy-ui/photon/alexandrite/voyager (maybe others too - these are just ones I’ve tested that work)
Lol. I wish XKCD showed date published.
Btw I just found out that lemmy-ui supports markdown citations.
It’s not documented AFAIK though.
Yeah, FUCK trump but the amount of easily disproven misinformation being shared on Lemmy is alarming. Mods need help?
they quite literally are recording constantly. how else can they detect the trigger phrase? they only difference is that they are supposed to delete these recordings after the phrase isnt heard.
I guess that depends on your definition of recording? An onboard microprocessor waiting for a trigger word is not storing or transmitting anything while waiting and that’s acceptable to me.
Not to your own personal choice, but there absolutely is downside to stigma and helmet mandates. Studies show they reduce cycling numbers which means people drive instead, which increases death and injury, because spoiler, cars are dangerous.
