  • When I discovered his original 3 stand-up specials on Netflix, I watched them with full attention. After that I watched them when I went to bed. Watch until I fell asleep (usually within 5 minutes). The next day pick up where I last remembered and did it again. I rotated through them at bedtime for months. Gotta have something entertaining, but not actively engaging so I can fall asleep to it. Comedy specials the 2nd or 3rd time through work for this. No surprises means I don’t miss anything by falling asleep.

  • Project chickens onto Trump tower. It’ll hit the news, he’ll see it, and it’ll push him into another debate. His people can’t control him. The might be able to manipulate him to some extent (e.g., “you don’t need to debate again, you won. What else is there to say/do? All you could do is lose. Leave it on the W.”). So, if you goad him enough, hell agree to another one.

  • Humans (like most living things) like to put things in boxes to make navigating their environment simpler. Temperatures aren’t really opposites because they’re on a continuum, but we talk about hot and cold as opposites to bring order to environmental navigation. The same with presence and absence of light and bright/dark. So, extending this logic, the opposite of cat is the absence of cat, but that doesn’t really make sense. If you cut a cat in half, are you halfway on a continuum from cat to the opposite of cat? If the cat is whole but has died, is it cat, opposite of cat, something else entirely? I have no idea, and no one else really does either. Brains are weird.
