The controller feels a bit like a step back, especially if the camera tracking has issues on the back, but if the price point is correct this will be my go-to recommendation for people to steer away from Meta.

Edit: after watching the LTT video, they have an optional ergonomic package with slightly better headstrap, and more importantly a couple of straps for the controllers, which still have per-finger tracking! So you can still handle it like a knuckle controller!

  • That’s mostly due to the Volume setup they use, to film without green screen, in some/most scenes.

You can clearly see it in kenobi, I guess in Mandalorian Season 1 it wasn’t that noticeable because it was brand new.

And that’s why Andor feels so much larger and grounded, a lot of on-location shooting, with classic green screens for ships cockpit and others.

Edit: and I re-read your post only now to notice you already talked about the Volume… I need to get a nap

  • Upgraded to a HTC Vive Pro 2 this year, had to upgrade to an RTX5070 to follow on the resolution and framerate, but I don’t regret it one bit, I mostly play Elite Dangerous, with some action games here and there.

I’ve tried to get into VR Chat but I guess it’s not for me.

I used to play beat saber quite a bit but now for some reason I get some stutter/lag every other seconds, which makes it unplayable…
