I see that you dedicated a paragraph to NTFS. There are quite a lot of people saying there are problems with gaming on Linux using an NTFS drive but I’ve rarely (never?!) seen anyone actually having problems with it. I myself have been dual booting for years and some games are on an NTFS drive shared between Linux and windows for convenience and I never had any issues besides the fact I had to disable fast reboot in Windows.
Afaik a one-time-purchase to get rid of the ads is planned.
My current favorites are gamecube games (Tony Hawk Games and 007 Nightfire) and Forza Horizon 5. Played quite a bit of minecraft aswell, but I find it hard to be efficient with a controller.
Did you set the Hashtags yourself? Sorry but I find them pretty annoying.
I personally can’t really imagine anything else. Sure, there are melee weapons, but controls are hard if you don’t want to go the “click a button and deal damage in a small cone in front of the character” route with them. Imagine trying to come up with a control scheme for a flail. You could control it with one of the analog sticks or the mouse, but I don’t think that would be very precise.
Or did you mean you want more games that are like “shooting magic orbs out of your hands”? At the end of the day that would still be guns but with a different “skin”.
Edit:// To be fair, For Honor tried something else with its melee combat and I think it’s a really nice approach, but it doesn’t seem to appeal to the masses, sadly.
I don’t even symlink compatdata and haven’t run into any problems. The whole NTFS thing is wild :D
