I feel like if you react to any left-wing posts like a you’re the main role in a 50’s red scare propaganda video, they’ve already won.

Works for me with a VPN to Australia, so yeah, probably just ISPs being shit. Nothing new, I guess.
Yeah, I’ve tried from a lot of different VPN locations. Wasn’t able to find any DW is blocked in.
Do they? To my knowledge, providing news for the world is pretty much their declared purpose.
The way they did representation was one of the few things I really liked about Discovery. And that they gave us that Pike, and a Spock that turned out a lot better than I thought. Still, felt like every season got worse, plot wise.
If you look at the kind and number of documents, and each parties reaction, this is very much a false equivalency. Biden’s documents case is more like Pence’s, while Trump’s is a whole different animal.
I don’t have children. I don’t plan to have children. I don’t think any of my partners did or do either. People can be invested in the future because they don’t want future generations to suffer. If you need to have younger dependents for that, it mostly makes me think you have a rather narrow world view.
Just because I found it’s interesting and tangentialy related, here’s a bunch of statistics on the BRICS States by the German federal office of statistics.
Auto-translate should work. The statistic on CO₂ Emissions might be slightly unfair, as I assume a lot of that is directly, or indirectly related to production for G7 countries.
While valve has a lot of deserved goodwill, that’s always the problem - they’re well-behaved, but set up in a way in which the customer has no leverage if they where to change their approach tommorow.
Good thing drm-free games run just as well on the steam deck.
I mean, this is something you could genuinely use an LLM for. “Find any grammatical errors in this text.” I mean, a word processor could also do that, but oh well.
Also, since a lot of them seem at least partially trained on random internet content, and they don’t seem to have much of a problem with grammar, I don’t think that’s a valid tactic.
To my knowledge, it runs a custom version of mastodon. Maybe they should donate some of their winnings to the project, should they manage to dump their stocks before the company goes bust.
I feel like their service quality has been going down lately. Though if you flew domestic from Germany to Paris, it must have been quite some time ago anyway.
Been pretty happy with ANA lately. Have yet to try Ethiad and Emirates. Supposedly very good, but I don’t like the owners.
The specialty roasters around here post about coffee pretty much exclusively. Happy this forced corporate funny/meme culture hasn’t spread to them.
That just sounds like a list of things to say to have plausible deniability.
I played badminton with a friend and their girlfriend a few days ago. Guess in HK that’d pass as a euphemism.
Women are so cute and I don’t think that that’s the thing making me a bad VP pick.
True. Grindr as a corporation still sucks, though.
I think that assuming that editorial decisions are never influenced by financial interests would be naive, but they’re such a big organisation that covers such a breadth of topics that it would also seem foolish to assume a douplicitous intent behind every story. It might just be journalist covering a currently relatively widely discussed topic.
Also, Reuters generally does quite well in remaining relatively neutral in their coverage (though that impression might of course just be based on my biases).
Well, producing illegal drugs seems to be generally rather high risk, high reward. You’d also need a lab, possibly employees, a distribution network, and might encounter potentially rather violent competition, though, so I’d say there might be a few more cost centres other than the raw materials.
In my client, it just looks a bit plain.
