My 1 seed for the PS2 is Cookies and Cream. It’s a split screen co-op game for 2 players where each side will have obstacles that only the other side can solve. Very fun and very addictive, but it also has a solid control scheme that is easy to pick up.

My wife and I played it a lot when we were first dating and she loved it even though she rarely, if ever, plays video games. Still have the original copy and I’ll never part with it 😊

  • Lunch breaks are required by law, but they are not required to pay you when you take them. So when you work an 8 hour day, you are actually working an 8.5 hour day (8:30 - 17:00) with your .5 hour break at some point in the middle. The joke is basically the guy asking to work 8 hours straight and leave at 16:30 instead of 17:00 and management tossing him out a window.

Think of it on a scale of 1-10. High floor means it’s not a stinker, so worst ranking would be in the 4/10 - 5.5/10 range. Low ceiling means it’s not going to be an all-timer, so the best ranking would be in the 6/10 - 7.5/10 range. Basically you’ll never HATE it, but you’re also never going to LOVE it.

Dean Koontz is kind of like the RC Cola of horror/suspense novelists:

    • See RC Cola in the store
    • “Hmmmm, it’s been a while, but I THINK I liked RC the last time I got it”
    • Purchase and consume RC Cola
    • “I kind of wish this was a Coke, but it’s not that bad, might as well finish”
    • Several years pass, go back to step 1

As a side note, I LOVED Dean Koontz books back in the 80’s/90’s. They were fun and quick reads that are in the “high floor, low ceiling” realm of books.
